I have been impacted by the serious mental illnesses of many family members. I made it my mission to improve conditions for them and for families like ours. Serious Mental Illness Awareness is well portrayed through movies, comedy, books, and other media. Every month we are dedicated to raising the public's knowledge about these brain diseases, how they can be treated, what our families want others to know, and to improve outcomes for everyone. No one should suffer alone, isolated, overwhelmed, lost. It takes a village to care for the most vulnerable. Let's be that village.
